This extra virgin olive oil is made from the cold extraction of 100% Chemleli olives. Chemleli is a 100% Tunisian olive variety. It is the most planted variety in Tunisia due to its ability to adapt to the summer heat and chilly winters. The variety was already admired by the Romans for its delicious olive oil. This olive oil has a delicate taste with aromas of green almond, banana and tomato, and a medium pungency. It pairs well with salads, eggs, white cheeses, chicken, fish, and sandwiches. The Chemleli has won golden medals in various prestigious international olive oil competitions (New York, London and Athens) including in Mario Solinas, Spain (2024). Mario Solinas is the most prestigious international olive oil competition in the world. Also, the Chemleli has won a golden medal in BIOL, Italy (2024). The BIOL award is one of the most important international awards dedicated to extra virgin olive oil produced using organic farming techniques.
